Great stuff. Here at the Title Screen Database, you can really just dive into it, not having to worry about reviewing a film like TAXI DRIVER, but just let here rip, as they say. Amazing how you never think about title screens all that much and the importance they play in setting up the mood and tone of a film. Nice work, amigo. Keep it up.
I like nothing better than a cool title card, I think it sets the tone for the whole film. It's only a small component, but I'm always more predisposed to a film if it has some imagination in that department. Watched this again not long ago on blu-ray, and appreciated the Bernard Hermmann score even more. It's the only Scorcese film that I'm a big supporter of.
